Sponsored by the New York Power Authority, our Greentech Program offers a no-cost-to-student, hands-on training with live equipment in real-world applications, providing you with a basic exposure to the various facets of the trade, and the emerging clean technologies of the future, and provide you with an industry certification that will help you get hired.

What Does This Program Offer?
The Greentech Program at ITEC is a structured, skill-building experience designed to deliver serious results. Whether you are just out of high school or looking for a more rewarding career, our program provides the education, certification, and confidence you need.
Here’s what our students receive:
Equipment variety: Our program includes an exposure to basic HVAC systems: from water heaters to gas furnaces, boilers, air conditioners and heat pumps; as well as a variety of commercial refrigeration equipment.
Certifications: EPA 608 testing and certification is included in the program.
Hands-on experience: Our students aren’t stuck watching PowerPoint presentations in a classroom. Instead, our 30,000-square-foot facility includes a full-scale indoor house, eight separate HVAC lab modules, and 10,000 square feet of interactive classrooms. You’ll train the same way you’ll work—on genuine equipment in realistic environments.
