The Construction Workforce Entry Program is an immersive six‑week intensive course that blends practical exposure with essential classroom theories and provides exposure to a number of trades. Students engage in real-world exercises covering vital skills such as:
- Rough framing
- Roofing
- Plumbing
- Pipe fitting
- Basic electrical wiring
- Drywall installation
- Painting
- Finish work

Application Process:
Prior to acceptance into the program, participants must be nominated by a person of influence in their life. This can be a mentor, family member, teacher, supervisor, etc. Download the fillable Nominator Submission form below.
Applicants can download and fill out the application below and submit it with their nomination form.
Once applications have been received, prospective participants will be able to earn the OSHA-10 Construction Safety Certification (administered online), a prerequisite to joining the program.
Once these steps are completed, participants are invited in for a pre-screening and consultation to ensure they are ready to work full-time in the trades. Upon acceptance into the program, participants must adhere to a weekly composite score of 80% to continue week to week. Grades are based on attendance, engagement, safety, and weekly exams, all of which are open-book.

What is the HVAC Excellence Heat Pump Installer exam?
The HVAC Excellence Heat Pump Installer exam is an Employment Ready Certification for students and entry-level technicians. As part of the Greentech Fundamentals course, you’ll gain the knowledge needed to pass this exam, covering components, controls, cycles, troubleshooting, and interpretation of heat pump schematics.
