Per Diem HVAC Instructor
$1500 per 30 hour course

Principal Purpose of Job 
This job is similar in nature to the HVAC lead instructor, but is limited to focusing on individual 30 hour courses, either in a one week format, or a few hours per day in a multiweek format in areas that which the instructor has significant field experience and able to obtain credentials as a Subject Matter Expert in.
 
Career Qualifications:
 2 years HVAC experience
EPA certification
HS Diploma or equivalent
able to pass HVAC Excellence Subject Matter Educator exam in are of instruction

Primary Responsibilities 
Ensure preparedness for training sessions by previewing material and/or preparing lab modules 
Assist in both updating existing and developing new course content 
Present material in a professional and engaging manner to maximize the opportunity for participants to gain the skills required by the course competencies  
Take attendance, grade homework and exams and enter on tracking sheets weekly 
Ensure lab modules are returned to a clean and ready state after training 
Notify Director of any deficiencies or repairs needed following training sessions 

Additional Responsibilities 
Accurately account for and apply time towards projects 
Consistently look for opportunities to improve/complete lab buildout projects 
Maintain lab cleanliness and organization at all times as possible 
Secure tools and track expendable inventory 
Participate in meetings and training on a regular basis 

Part-Time Assistant Trades Instructor
$16-18/hr 7:30-11:30 M-F (20 hours/week)

Principal Purpose of Job 
Assist ITEC instructors in Lab or Class to maintain a safe and positive environment for students and staff, act as demonstrator for lab sessions modeling correct and safe use of tools and equipment. 

Career Qualifications: 
A high school diploma or equivalent 
A minimum of two years full-time or the equivalent part-time occupational experience in carpentry & general construction occupations. 
OSHA 10 Construction Safety Certification 
Must be able to pass drug screen, background and driving record check
